CONTENT - (Main Idea - Describe in Detail what you see) - Family, have everything they own with them, barren landscape, lots of children, a dog, packed haphazardly/quickly?, man wearing overalls and workshoes, sense that they are moving not just taking a trip

CITATION - (Author/Creator) - Dorothea Lange 1938 - Dustbowl Collection Exodus Oklahoma

CONTEXT - (What is going on in the world, the country, the region or the locality when this was created) - During dustbowl period (1930-1940), drought, economic depression, headed west from midwestern plains in search of a better life/survival. 

CONNECTIONS - (link primary source to other things already know or have learned about) - Dorothea Lange famous photographer,  current CA residents are decendents of these migrants, still have immigrants migrating to CA for the same reasons (better life/survival).

COMMUNICATION - (point of view or bias - is this source reliable?) -  Dorothea hired to document this movement by US Government, sympathic to plight.
