CONTENT

Men appear to be smoking an unknown substance.  They seem to be relaxing.  It appears that they are finished with work because of the hat hung on the wall

An image in a series of images depicting crime, revenge, and drug dens. It shows why California was often called part of the "Wild West."

San Francisco, earthquake, gold rush, railroad construction, immigration.  Problem with drugs and possible reasons to "escape" life's issues.
