The first image is a poster featuring two African American Children which is calling for the people of the West Coast not to buy at Woolworth and Kress until "Southern Lunch counter discrimination against Negroes ends".
The second image shows picketeers outside of a Woolworth's store on Market Street in San Francisco. The picketers are carrying signs that say "America, One nation. FW Woolworth One Corporation South and North" and "Woolworth San Francisco and Woolworth Chattanooga Same Corporation - NAACP FW Woolworth Cooperates with Southern Bigots.

We experimented with using student-made videos and putting them on the iPod touch and sharing them.

Still at the brainstorming stage, but students were impressed by a brief presentation of their video.
